Double Standards, do they still exist??what are your opinions? in my view they are definitely still heavily present not as evident as they have been in the past but in relationships it’s easy to tell when there is a double standard present. for example onlyone of you is allowed to tell jokes of a certain nature because it offends the other one if you tell them, they can flirt with other girls/guys but you can’t because that would bepushing it.  also there is the whole issue of why are men allowed to casually date and sleep with numerous amounts of women, where as if women go and do that they are called sluts/whores etc why is it ok in our society to allow this double standard to continue even in our personal relationships. Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t only happen in sexual or intimate relationships there are double standards present even within the relationships you have with your parents at times and the excuse usually for it is, ”well i’m older and you’re still a kid so you can’t” or something along those lines. No matter what the case may be and whoever it may be with that is no excuse to be treated as some who is not equal to anyone else. I’m not saying that women should be more superior than men thats just wrong, just equal treatment and expectations. Yes men and women are different in many ways but that doesn’t mean we should be treated any differently, i would express the same arguement if i was a guy, i’m not just doing this because i am a women. Even men are under double standards especially when it comes to rape and sexual harrassment for instance. Yes, a man can be raped, but most judges or police will say that he is bluffing because they just don’t believe the liklihood of a man getting raped because it’s not the norm. and absolutely men can be sexually harrassed and be put in uncomfortable situations by women but do we ever hear much about it no because the only ones who usually come forward are women. also why is it ok for there to be ladies nights at bars but there can’t be a guy’s night? i have never understood this factor because isn’t that being biased against men? isn’t our society trying to get away from treating people unequally. i think that in every bar or pub that there is a ladies night that they should also have a guy’s night to compensate. Also speaking of the industry why is it that all servers are women? i am tired of always seeing women that i have to order booze from not that there is anything wrong with that but it gives the impression that men are the only ones who buy drinks and therefore the bar staff should be mostly women. but what about us ladies who go and spend our hard earned money why can’t we have guys to order booze from? it’s not my place to understand that concept cause i probably never will but it just irks me because it makes me feel that people don’t think that women make any money or we only are able to order booze with a man there…. something along those lines. Yes i am highly opinionated but i am also very curious probably not the best mix of qualities but what can ya do right. I need some opinions. what do you guys or ladies think is something sexy do with your partner it can be anything from dressing up to …. well i don’t know what goes on in all of your minds i just know my own and am curious as to how many other individuals think along the same lines as me. Personally i thinkhalloween is the best holiday because you get to be whoever you want to be and that gives an air of mystery and makes one feel exhilarated …. you get the picture  but yes what does it for all of you? Another thing that ticks me off is all of this political correctness regarding christmas, do you know that employees of some companies are not allowed to say merry christmas? they have to say happy holidays, not that there is anything wrong with that but, i myself celebrate Christmas and i don’t see why in my own country i shouldn’tbe allowed to wish some one a merry christmas despite their religion because if we have to be accepting of everyone else’s religions they should be accepting of ours as well isn’t that how compromise is supposed to go ? or should we be the ones to slowly sacrifice our identities so that people who are not originally from here can feel comfortable ? either way if i run into one of you in the streets i don’t care what you say i will be wishing every one a merry christmas and their respective holidays as well if it may be different none of this happy holidays crap it’s called christmas time for a reason is it not??
